Am I prepared for that day. Am I doing enough every day to be able to sit at his feet and not be far away. Am I preparing my children for his coming? Will we be an eternal family? So many things are buzzing around my head and I hope that I am ready. I know that I have area's of work. I know that I need to sharpen my skills. I know that I need to be worthy of the blessings that our Heavenly Father has for us. I know that he lives. He died for our sins so that we may return to be with him. He is our advocate with the Father. I just hope I am worthy of that when the time comes.. Jesus is my heavenly brother and I love him for his willingness and humiltiy on my part to do what he has done. To all my friends who read this.. know that I love you and support you in our journey of faith. All my love and hugs RhondaRhondahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15850377227590380518noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595543638909616579.post-26046017435587589282008-09-26T08:10:00.006-06:002008-09-26T08:56:22.159-06:00A quick catch up!

Its been awhile. Wow just a few years ago it was just going to Primary and enjoying watching her in Activity Days which she now feels she is too old for. Tonight is New Beginnings in Young Women and she will be spotlighted and welcomed into this group. She is excited and can't wait to be with her friends by the way most of whom will be moving from Beehives to Mia Maids but they will be together in joint and mutual activities. She is growing up soo fast and I just want to sit on her and keep her little but can't do that. She is growing into a beautiful young woman and we are soo proud of her. Keep going Brianna we Love You Very Much.. We have had the coldest weather up here. Love to look at it but man is it cold. The Wednesday after New Years I had no heat and it was a chilly 13 at noon. I darn near froze my booty off. By the time Barry and the kids got home it was a balmy 59 in the house and we finally got heat at 8 pm that evening.. Needless to say not a good way to start the new year but it was a loose wire on a electronic ignition and no pilot light. Bummmer oh landlord was real good about getting it fixed. Hope everyone had a good start to and I pray that you all prosper in whatever you need for the year. All our love and hugssssssssssssss to each and everyone of you..

Rhondahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15850377227590380518noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595543638909616579.post-75991355328302891542007-12-31T09:52:00.000-07:002007-12-31T10:07:48.606-07:00Merry Christmas from chilly Logan

This Christmas has been soo hard. I guess being sick is most of it. I couldn't shake it and it dragged me down. Christmas eve came and we were no where near ready and so getting Roark into bed became a real pain. He was just soo excited he could not go to sleep. I even tried laying down with him. Yay he is asleep.. so I got up and went and laid down in my bed...NOPE "MOM where did you go.. ugh!! Finally I told him to just go to sleep or Santa would not come and we would not have any presents. I don't know what time he went to sleep but Barry and I got up at 3:15 to finish and went back to bed. The kids let us sleep until 7:30 wow later than I let my parents sleep..lol

The kids were so excited. Even Bri who told us she knows we are Santa.. lol We even surprised her. The had soo much fun opening gifts. My Mom, Darlene, made each of us a fleece blanket and boy are they nice and warm. I got Curious George, Barry got Steelers of course, Bri got Pink Horses and Mr. Roark got John Deere. They are down in the living room and we use them every night. I am going to include a few pics of some of our gifts and they fun we had. Barry even fired up the BBQ for some steak we had in the freezer and we had a good breakfast.

All in all it was a wonderful day. We went to our friends Donnie and Sarah's house for dinner and had a wonderful meal and alot of friendship. Hope your Day was just as great.Rhondahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15850377227590380518noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595543638909616579.post-91680302433324764772007-12-12T14:59:00.000-07:002007-12-12T15:04:26.817-07:00Not Feeling soo Hot!!Wow what a wonderful weekend helping out Warren in Cally. We moved to Logan Utah with Barry coming first in May and then the kids followed in June after what felt like an eternity away from Daddy. The kids still had two weeks left of school but we had a conversation and decided we wanted to be with Daddy.

Here we are! We love living in Logan! It is beautiful and surrounded by mountains all the way around. Tree mountains to the east and Rock Mountains to the west.

Bri is loving being a 6th grader at Mount Logan Middle School. She comes home with a different story every day. This person did this, the teacher did this.. and of course she has most definitely found out boys are very fun to talk to! She has also decided she wants to play the flute. She is actually pretty good and I find it easy to listen to her practice unless I'm on the phone and then it is Bri take it upstairs pleaseeeee.... She is a lovely young lady and I hope we can keep her going in the right direction.

Roark well what can I say about Mr. Roark. He is still his loveable full of energy self. He loves being in the 3 rd grade. He has wonderful teachers who are really helping him advance. His ADHD is under what I would call control as long we remember to put on his patch. We have great days with that on and the few days we forget (meaning MOM forgets) we have very active days..lol His grades are on the rise all the time and his reading is getting wonderful. He still loves to build with his Lego's and he is very good at making paper airplanes. He just got his Wolf Badge in Cub Scouts and he is very proud of that.. He told me he can't wait to get his Arrow of Light. Told him he would have to wait on that but work hard and he would get it.

Barry is doing good at work. He really likes his job and comes home satisfied that he did a good days work. He had made a few accaintences there and comes home with some doozies of stories some days. Some days it is just fall off your chair laughter. He had a new calling at church that keeps him very busy a couple nights a week and he seems to be enjoying that also. We will be married 14 years on the 18th of December. Wow I can't believe how the time has flown by.

Me, keeping busy doing the Mom thing still. I get the kids off to school by 7:30 and then I have all my stuff to work on. I am still trying to do my Tupperware business and I'm looking at another business but mostly that one will be for myself. I still love doing photo work and I am hoping to go back to school after the first of year to get into Graphic Arts. Wish me luck there. I am busy with my Young Womens calling at church and that is a very big challenge. I love them and they are alot of fun.

As Christmas comes upon us again I am sitting here wondering how my family and friends are this season. I miss them and wish I could be every where at once to spend time with them. You are never far from my heart and mind. Hoping this keeps us closer and at least you won't be wondering what we are doing..lol

Here is to new Beginnings

Rhondahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15850377227590380518noreply@blogger.com3
